Although Equanomics.net is a website that enables business ownership, we are more than that. We are a community of people helping each other to succeed in life. We do this when we share information with each other. We do this when we provide support for other members who need our expertise or abilities. We help ourselves by helping others.

It is our intent to connect members in ways that assist them beyond the limitations of money. This is about creating neighbors out of the strangers who live around us. It's about coming to an understanding that we can get much further together than we can on our own. It's about putting aside petty differences and working together on the stuff that really matters.

We are the voice of the silent majority who have remained quiet while wealth and power has distorted our world into something that is hard to recognize. We live in a democracy and each voice is important. In a world that is increasingly dominated by corporate power, our voices have been drowned out. It is our sincere hope that leading people to an improved financial condition and connecting members with others will empower everyone to speak. Small business is the tool we must use to wrestle control from those who wield power and wealth as a weapon against the people.

Equanomics is a source of economic change. We offer opportunities for business creation in the retail, service and manufacturing sectors. We will help create new business models that discard 20th century business practices. First to go is the assembly line mentality that treats people like human cattle and manages them from a hierarchy of power that restricts their creativity and their autonomy. We can't expect to get far with a society of adults who spend their lives being treated like children.

We are a force for justice; starting with economic justice. Our agenda is simply to share the truth and make sure people are aware of what is going on in the world around them. We are not political and we have no interest in organizing people for any hidden purpose. We are not "against" any person or group. We are "for" freedom and equality in every form and will help people find the shortest path to the highest possible quality of life.
